8 Willow Street - (315) 265-3940 - Tue-Sat 11AM-5PM WHO WE ARE C.O.R.C., the Council of Religious
Concern, Thrift Store, is an independently run not-for-profit that was
started over 35 years ago. Our
store is run by a small staff, community volunteers and an executive board
that is made up of religious bodies and individuals from the Potsdam area. At the close of each year, the C.O.R.C.
Thrift Store donates its extra revenues to many community service
agencies. WHAT WE DO Thanks to the benevolence of community donations, the C.O.R.C.
Thrift Store is Potsdam’s
largest source for previously owned items.
We offer an extensive selection of used clothing and shoes for all
ages. We also offer accessories,
books, toys, linens, dishes and small household goods. All at incredibly low prices!
VOUCHERS We
offer vouchers that provide the customer free clothing, bedding and
housewares. The customer is able to
pick from items on the racks, and has the freedom to make their own
choices. Vouchers are distributed
by area churches, The American Red Cross, Neighborhood Centers,
Helping Hands and other service organizations.
VOLUNTEERING
Want to get involved with our future? Volunteers are encouraged to help out on
work days as well as contribute as Board Members. Your religious group or neighbor
might already participate, join in! Call the store manager for details.
